Hair Growth? What is your ethnicity and how long would it take your hair to grow 4 inches?

Okay, ladies I'm curious about what hair growth is like for woman of different races/nationalities. (Please no negative comments)

I am black and I have never had issues growing my hair. My hair is currently about 4 inches shy of bra strap length and I am trying to figure out how long it will take my hair to grow extra 4 inches. Most people say that everyone's hair grows 6 inches a year...which has basically been true from me...but other woman's hair seems to grow faster than that.

And regardless of your race, Id just like some thoughts, and hair growth tips from you ladies.

Im half english half irish, have naturally blonde, fine hair (Yes i dyed my hair black ^__^) its past my shoulders, but i wouldn't consider it long.
My hair grows super fast but since im a vegetarian and recently got black dye stripped out it is pretty damaged. I have a new rule with myself now, im never going to put anything on my hair that wont wash off with water. It grows an inch a month, especially my fringe, i just wish it would grow thicker.

Tips:
Im really into natural beauty i use this mask which works really well for me, it really good for repairing hair and making it soft, but it can be messy to put on.

Never bleach your hair, it makes it grow half as fast, if not altogether

Eat as much fruit and veg as you can

Always use heat protection when you straighten/curl your hair

Avoid heat appliances as much as you can

Facing a serious hair loss, what to do?

I began to notice that I'm facing hair loss right about half year ago. People said shedding is the process where hair will drop for a period of time(approximately 6weeks or more) to allow new hair to appear again. However, I don't think my hair loss problem is considered as shedding. It's been 6 months+ and I'm still losing alot of hair. I did everything I could including using Biotin and rosemary shampoo, taking Biotin supplement, and have also reduced taking junk food to the minimum. I do understand that hair growth cycle takes a long time before you can see your hair in the length you want, but I already have fine and thin hair where if I keep on losing so many strands of hair per day, I guess I will go bald very soon. And I noticed a 50 cent shape of bald spot. Is this considered as balding or will I have any chances for recovery? Please help me, hair is women's crown arent they? ='(
