My friends and I are going to be Sailor Moon for Halloween, how should I go about getting the costume?

Okay my friends and I are going to a Halloween party dressed as the Sailor Scouts from Sailor Moon (Sailor Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus). We're trying to find out the best balance between being economic about this and being authentic. We are especially wondering what to do about the wigs (except the girl playing Sailor Mars, she has long black hair).

I will give 10 points for the best answer (including material to get, places we can buy stuff, etc). Thank you

Yeah I was going to be sailor moon but I am really bad at decisions...
So I'm still deciding. But I found lots of costumes in e-bay.

Why Everybody Is Going 'gaga' For This Talented Lady

The cream of today's crop of musicians and artists is perhaps more defined by style and expression than ever before, with the very best of them setting trends and selling fashions thanks to a style that is constantly 'of the now'.

One such modern day icon, who is certainly not afraid of more than a little exposure, is Lady Gaga. Love her or loathe her, it has been almost impossible to ignore the starlet's rise to fame throughout 2009 and 2010 thanks to her ever-changing wardrobe of costumes, countless thousands of column inches and hit-laden chart-topping second album, ‘The Fame Monster‘.

Like many of her closest musical peers, such as Florence Welch and La Roux, Lady Gaga defies pigeon-holing and instead very much treads a musical path of her own; part Madonna, part cabaret performer and part mock tortured genius.

Reaching fame for writing her own material in an industry where musicianship is often ignored in favour of waist-size, Lady Gaga got her break into music by first writing hits for other artists, before eventually realising her own potential and unleashing her debut album in August 2008. Upbeat go-go dance routines set to disco-electronica would best describe the pop star's act, though an element of fantasy is always suggested, largely through the diva's extensive wardrobe of costumes, props and out-of-this-world makeup.

Born Stefani Angelina Germanotta, Ms Gaga first starting performing on the New York scene before being signed as a writer to Streamline Records. Earning an impressive six Grammy Awards nominations and winning Best Electronic / Dance Album and Best Dance Record for her first album, Lady Gaga headed out on her own headline tour and soon after released her sophomore record, The Fame Monster.

The singer made headlines throughout the UK by scooping a Brit Award hat-trick by winning all three categories she was nominated for, including Best International Album. Arriving at the London ceremony wearing one of her many trademark elaborate creations in the shape of a three-tiered dress and tall white wig, Lady Gaga was in tears by the time her awards started rolling in. In an emotional tribute, the singer dedicated her awards to the late Alexander McQueen, and thanked him again for inspiring her fashion choices as she played a stripped-down version of her song 'Telephone'.

Named in part after the Queen song 'Radio Gaga' and sharing much of the drama and showmanship of the late Freddie Mercury, Lady Gaga has even drawn comparisons from luminaries such as Madonna herself, who went as far as telling Rolling Stone magazine that she sees a lot of "herself in Lady Gaga".

Whatever you think of Lady Gaga songs, there is no denying the impact she has made on global music, fashion and media over her so far short time in the spotlight.
