Help with phytoplankton culture?

I'm trying to start a phytoplankton culture I have done all of the sanitation procedures, salt mix, phyto grow, lighting 16 hours on and 8 off etc also had 2 sources of live phytoplankton and after two days the water goes clear is this normal and should I wait some more or did it crash I shake the bottles every day too?????I have air line tubes running in them

Yes unfortunately, it looks like your cultures crashed. Try to resanitize your bottles and innoculate a new culture. Good luck.

Relaxer (phyto~)? HELP need to relax TODAY!!?

I have a relaxer namely phytospecific index II and I have four months of newgrowth about two inches! (I think lol) anyway do you think I can get away with using HALF the relaxer kit, esspecially seeing as its quite expensive! Help I have to leave soon!
