Treatment Tonic
TB and poor appetite?
I am taking TB treatment for the past 1 month. After starting the medicines, I have developed a very poor appetite. I do make an attempt to eat very well, but i cannot have a very high qty diet. I wanted to know how important it is to eat well during the treatment. My doctor has given some vitamin tonic also which I am taking regularly.
try juiceplus.com. they offer a type of vitamin, well its not your typical vitamin as each capsule if filled with condensed real fruit and veggies... definatly worth a look. Be careful of what vitamines you are taking... i mean too many is not a good thing as it weakens your immune system if taken for an unncesessary amount of time. We keep our immune system up by keeping it working, stimulated. When we start to give it everything it needs it becomes king of lazy if done for a long time, than when we try to stop taking the vitamines we end up feeling very crumby because now our bodies are not used to working so hard to absorb all the vitamines it needs out of our food.

What is the best treatment for a horse with recurring tonic-clonic epilepsy?
A. An IV drip of benadryl solution
B. Administration of anti-epileptic medication
C. Euthanasia
D. Change of diet
If I had to choose from the above I would say B, and D.
Benadryl would be for allergies not epilepsy.
Euthanasia would be death which I would only use as a last resort and the animal is suffering.
