Toupee Lace Wig
Can you use toupee tape to hold a full skin top cap wig in place?
Ok i am becoming a female impersonator and for my first performance I'm doing beyonce. As we all know Beyonce Twist and turns her hair and swings it each and every way. Now my question is can i use Toupee tape to keep the wig in place so it wont fall off when I'm swinging it around. Also if there is anything else that i could use to guarantee that the wig wont fall off it would be GREATLY appreciated if you guys could bring it to my attention. Also the kind of wig that i have is not Lace front. Its a full skin top cap wig.
if you using a full Poly cap then the tape should do the job but make sure its a blue line tape (strongest hold).. these tapes would give generally 3-5 days hold so shouldnt have any probs with a couple hours.
you could also try wig clips (im assuming your not shaving your head so the tape wont be able to be applied all round) the clips can be good for side and back with the tape for the front.
