I am currently playing Bioshock on PC. I have gotten up to Neptune's Bounty and fought with the Big Daddy named Rosie. I also harvested the Little Sister and so I have some Adam. I have been reading the information that the game provides and it said that you can purchase addition slots for the powers and the gene tonics at an Eve's Garden. My question is, do I have to get to a certain point in the game before I can do that? I noticed that I wasn't able to get any newer abilities until I harvested the Little Sister and bought things at the Garden's Eve. But when in the game will it become available to purchase slots for additional powers and gene tonics? I have the Electric, Inferno, and Telekinesis powers but I can only use two of them because I don't have an extra slot to place the last power.
Yes. You need to collect (harvest) Adam from the little sisters. Some time a bit later on in the game, you come to machines (can't remember the name right now) where you can get extra slots.
Keep at it - it's an awesome game. I completed it several weeks ago, but have just started playing it again, because the latest NV drivers have added small extra graphical niceties.
