How many different reasons are there for hair loss or thinning hair?
i know someone who im very close with that her hair is apparently beggining to thin and some of it comes out when you comb it and she got tested for a thyroid and its negative so were really afraid it might be cancer and im really scared
This girl is 17 she had a blood test for a couple things including cancer which came out negative along with the thyroid but shes going in for a sonogram to make sure in a couple days.

I have thinninh hair loss and I'm only 26. I have two boys one is 8 and the other is 3. I have curly hair and useto have it longer but cut it a bit because I have thinning hair loss. What can I do to help this. I am very worried because my hair was very beautiful before now I look sick. Please help thanks
There are a few things that cause hair loss in women.. hormone imbalance, thyroid problems, stress, or severe dietary changes. My doctor told me it takes 3 months for the hair to fall out after the problem occurs, so backdate 3 months and try to figure out what changed, then do go see your doctor, a lot of the problems are very fixable with some minor tweaks..
