Why has my eczema been slowly spreading?
A small rash appeared on my hand a few years ago and the doctor gave me some topical corticosteroids to treat it. He said he thought it was eczema and it wouldn't respond so well to the cream if it were cancer. I don't need much - I am probably using the cream at 1/10 the rate my prescription supplies me with. But it has been spreading out over the years to about 3-4 times the area of its original size, and is starting to appear on my other hand. Sometimes there isn't any rash at all depending on whether I am having a good day.
Overall, is this normal?
I had this same exact problem many many years ago, it was terrible.
I tried everything I could think of. then stopped using things one at a time, like a certain soap, shampoo, detergent, etc, I finally found the culprit, it was the Almay loose power I used. when I stopped using it, the eczema went away. But it took forever for me to pinpoint the problem.
So just keep a careful watch on what you use each day, makeup chemicals, cleansers. start changing them for something else one at a time. I am sure you will find what is doing it. I hope you find it, I know its hard to live with, god bless

i have used murad, proactive, clean n clear, neutrogena, and seen a dermatologist but still have bad acne?
help!!!! the dermatolagist gave me a months supply of some oral medication and topical medication while on the oral medication my acne started to go away but now that its gone he wont give me more but all my acne is coming back help!!!
The dermatologist wants you to come back in for a check-up before refilling the prescription. There are some meds that are so strong that you really need to be monitored closely by your doctor. Call him/her and make an appointment to go back in. The meds were working (yeah!), so go back, get the prescription filled again. The good news is that you found something that worked.
