What styling gel is best for my hair??
Ok, I have the dry and frizzy hair (mixed girl hair) and every gel that I use dries up in my hair and makes it feel hard, and then after a few hours my hair looks as if I never put any gel in it. And worse of all, it strips the layers of my hair shaft and splits my ends easily and I have to keep washing it out if I use it everyday. Any tips or reccomendations on what gel I should use? Or should I stop using gels period. If you have my hair type or have a solution please answer!
Try Aussie. I prefer it. Even though it's helpless against perspiration, which makes it look like I don't have any gel in my hair, when I wet my comb and run it through my hair,the gel is still there, and does its job again.

Should i was my hair everday if i use styling gel?
I use styling gel everday so should I wash it out everday with shampoo or treat it as if i had no gel and just wash my hair every other day. I will still rinse it out just wont use shampoo b/c ive heard that you shouldn't wash your hair everday b/c it will dry it out so i wonder if the same applies when you use gel. What would be best to not damage my hair? Thanks!
you should wash it everyday to make sure that you get rid of all the styling gel that you put on it. not washing your hair properly and leaving some of the gel in it will eventually cause a build-up that can damage your hair, making it dry, brittle and prone to breakage.

I use a lot of the Dove products. And I like them quite a bit. For the money they are great. If you want to spend a little bit more try Physique. Their shampoo and conditioner for thin hair (if you can find it, I can't always) is really good.
