Strength Unscented
Any deodorants that stop odor??
I have a little problem. Sweating is not my problem, its more the odor that comes out of, just my arm pits.
I don't have very bad eating habits. I have tried drinking more water-it didn't help.
Regular deodorants don't help, scented ones make it worse, and unscented ones don't do much either.
I have used men's deodorant (clinical strength and regular) and girls (clinical and regular) and no help. As of right now I am using a crystal deodorant thing, but that doesn't help either.
My question is, would prescription strength deodorant help the smell? Should I go to the doctor to see what he can do? I heard there is a pill that they will sometimes prescribe for this, but idk.
My recommendation would be to go to a dermatologist. They can asses the problem and perscribe the correct solution. If you go to your regular physician they will most likely just refer you to a dermaologist, so id you can try and skip that unneccesary step. If you would like to solve it on your own i would suggest a product with baking soda, namely Arm and Hammer deoderant. These are really good at absorbing odor not masking it like some products do. Also you can try to add a body powder to your regular anti-persperant... such as ammens powder, that will soak up excess sweat and odor that the antipersperant leaves behind. But if the problem is severe your best bet is to go see a dermatologist and follow their instruction... it's what i had to do. I had a severe sweating problem... mine was mostly the actual sweat and not odor but i only found the solution in perscription medication.

Best Antiperspirant for men?
I'm not an excessive sweater but I do usually have little sweat stains on the armpits of my shirt and really it's quite embarrassing. I'm looking for the best antiperspirant that won't require a prescription. I've tried gillette clinical strength All day Fresh and it didn't really do too much. I put it on at night, took a shower the next morning and by 3rd period at school I had noticable wetness on my shirt. I've tried Sure invisible solid with the same results. By no means do I have a real sweating problem, I've never had to change my shirt or anything, it's just those little spots. So is Degree's clinical worth trying? Or is there another type that works really well? I would prefer unscented if it's an option, but I'm not limiting myself to that. Thank you.
Yeah I tried the mitchum gel, I don't know if that's worse than the stick but that did like nothing.
Have you tried 'Mitchum'? Also,wear dark shirts as much a possible,till you find the right product.
