Can a natural testosterone enhancer/stimulator cause hair thinning?
I'm 18 years old and for the past month I've been taking vitrix, a natural test stimulator. It worked very well but last week I noticed my hair thinning a little on one side and and on the top. It seems to be getting worse. Could Vitrix be the cause or is it something else?

Im not going to judge or anything, but why are you taking testosterone enhancer?
Anyways,
first of all, don't let the word natural fool you. Without going into detail, just think about it, you are taking pills, how natural can it be? 18 years of age should not fear about low testosterone...im 18, and i only worry about school work and squeezing time to play ball/hangout.
second of all, when testosterone level starts shooting up, hair lost is a side effect. So is aggressive behavior and various other things.
So i would highly recommend you to stop with enhancer. If you really need to, change your diet. Eat more food containing zinc and that will help with testosterone production. There are few other things you can eat too, just google it(i cant recall what they are at the moment). If you are not in URGENT need to boosting testosterone, just live your life dude...
By the way, exercising(yes, masturbation included) will help boost testosterone level, but without the side effects, because it is not as aggressive as enhancers.

I line that I like to use (I'm 22) that is actually made for children is called Africa's Best.
They make a detangling moisturizer for children.
I actually use their moisturizer called Africa's Best Organics Texture My Way Cur Keeper Moisturizing Hair Lotion (………….and inhale!!!). It has a ridiculously long name but I find that it makes my natural hair soft and easier to comb.
As for a scalp conditioner I recommend using Softee. Most scalp conditioners are the same so you might as well get the cheapest one (in price that is, their products are excellent IMHO).
Don't forget to use a deep conditioner every time you wash her hair. I cannot stress that enough. Africa's Best also makes one.
Also, if her hair line is receding please make sure that their isn't stress on her hair (such as tight braids or chemical processing-relaxers). If her hair is chemically altered AND her scalp is sensitive that can make for disaster. Plus, it isn't healthy for someone so young to have a relaxer. I've heard doctors say that you should wait until after puberty to apply one.
That is even if she has one.
Remember to keep her hair moisturized at all times. That is absolutely important for someone who is African American. Other than that you are asking for it to break off.
