Sorry to dash your hopes! I think all of the hair growth products are scams! It is a huge business and people still buy into to their fantastic claims. I have had clients try everything under the sun. Hair thins because of your DNA. Most likely your mothers father was bald or had thinning hair. Nothing stops that genetic make up.
You can try it. BUT if you don't see NOTICEABLE improvement within three months, give it up.
