I need step by step instructions on how to use my new diffuser?

I just bought a diffuser attachment for my blow dryer, but I have NO clue how to use it and it didn't come with any instructions.

I am using it to define my curls, and stop "The frizz monster" from happening. (and my hair is long [[down to my elbows]] and SUPER thick, so will it be sure to work on my hair?)
and how close to/far away from my scalp do I hold it?

Please answer my above questions and give me step by step instructions...!

I've been wondering how to use my diffuser as well...I have semi-similar hair. When I hold it to my head it feels like barely any air is coming out and because I dont know how to use it, it has become a total waste of my time. However, what I've found is (it sounds disgusting) but while you are in the shower the night before, rub mayo into your hair and rinse it out, and that does wonders for me as far as keeping the frizz down. Pulled hair out of my scalp!?

I need a place for me and my aunty. she has no job and she is too old to work. I need a place for us to move out because i got physically abused by my step dad last night (he literally pulled hair out of my scalp) i was screaming in pain and he kept pulling, until he ripped the hair out of my head.. i called the cops on him last night, but i need a cheap place to move asap in california. i cant live like this anymore. everything is so expensive here in San francisco...what do i do? i have no family here except my aunt...i am not from the US so all my family lives abroad.

i dont know about anywhere you can live but i do know you were right to call the cops. when my mom and me got into fights she would throw me around by the hair and a bunch got pulled out. i went to my neighbors and used their phone to call my cousin and she came to pick me up. just be careful because things can escalate fast so watch your back and always call the cops even if he just slaps you. you have to let him know you wont let it keep happening.
