How do you dead head veronica speedwell?

Do you use shears/scissors or snap it off with your fingers? How far down the stem do you go?

I use shears and cut down to the leaves. If your plant is too thick, you can deadhead by pulling and thin your plant at the same time. I have found it easier to thin the plant this way than digging and separating.

Hello, I was considering buying a thinning shear/scissor and I was wondering what the difference was between a single tooth scissor (the ones with the teeth on a single blade) and a double tooth scissor (the ones with the teeth on both blades)? I am hoping to use it for short guys hair, to make a thinner appearance and easier styling.
