Can i use the CHI Infra Treatment Thermal Protective Treatment without the Chi infra Shampoo?
Can i use this without applying the Chi shampoo, i didn't buy the shampoo and after all the negative reviews i really don't want to waste the money... and i also was wondering if the CHI Infra Treatment Thermal Protective Treatment can be used only once a week for treaments?? HELP lol
Yes you can use the protective treatment without the shampoo. The protective treatment is just that. It does not matter which product you use to shampoo or condition first. (Using a clarifying product once a week is a good idea tho, to help everything else work most efficiently.) Your shampoo, conditioner and all other products do not need to all be from the same line. All that matters is that you are using the right products for your hair type.
Also, it is a good idea to use the CHI silk infusion. I use it on my wet hair, then right before I straighten it, and a tiny bit when I am finished. It is really great for your hair. It helps to protect it from heat styling and it leaves your hair shiny, not greasy, and smells great.

Does your head stop itching right after using a lice treatment shampoo or does it take a while?
I used the shampoo, but my head is still itching a little. I'm living overseas and can't find a fine toothed comb anywhere. I did my best to get the eggs out and just figured I have to go over it again in a week or so. I can't find anymore bugs, so I'm wondering if it's just leftover itching, like a mosquito bite or something. Anybody know?
Best way to make sure the shampoo killed all the lice and eggs you really have to shampoo a few times and make sure you cover every piece of your hair with the shampoo, once the shampoo gets all the lice and eggs your head should not itch any longer, it should be as soon as you rinse the shampoo off, if you rinse and it's still itching then you probably didn't get all the lice and eggs, or maybe you need to try a different lice shampoo. I know someone who had lice, they tried two different shampoos before they finally got relief, they were relieved as soon as they got out of the shower, it's supposed to work right a way, if your head still itches it means some lice or eggs are still on your scalp. It's best to have someone help you massage the shampoo thoroughly through your scalp so every hair strand is covered in shampoo. Also, remember to wash your pillow sheets, bed sheets, clothes you wore in warm water so any lice or eggs will die.

HipYes I agree, No more convo on infecting others. That’s why I’ve been MIA for a few weeks. It was starting to get to me. Looks like I have some catching up to EveryoneDuring this time I have been trying a suggestion made on here by Mr Loritz (i know i know cut me some slack already)… and it seems to be working. I have been using dandruff shampoo on the rash on my face and its going away. I will need another week or so to see if its gonna stay away. Lately I’ve been noticing my skin is oily, slightly flaky, and red all over all the time, but wherever I use the shampoo it gets better. Still confirming this, but I have not taken any other medications during the test time.Today, I start my doxy. I was waiting until I could see if the shampoo treatment worked first. I don’t expect the doxy will do much but clear anything secondary and reduce inflammation, but who knows.

dont add any chemicals to ur hair an cut down on hairspray, mousse, and gel. if u do use ur products and cant live without them just dont buy the cheap ones. let your hair relax and comb it before u go to bed… it'll get greasier to help naturally moisturize it
