porcelain tile question help?
im buying polished porcelain tiles but havent a clue what sealed, pre-sealed and not sealed means and what else do i need to buy with tiles to lay them im not laying them myself just want to know what to get so i can shop around for best price
If its polished porcelain you won t have to do a thing to it. Just seal the grout after the required drying time according to the sealer brand you get ( 72 hrs in most cases). Assuming you have a normal 3/4 " subflooring now, you have to properly install or have installed 1/2 "substrate to bring the minimum substrate thickness up to 1 1/4". Cement board (1/2") in the most common way of doing this..Of coarse the "glue" that puts it all together is the thin set.
Now if your over concrete , you can bond directly to this. Both surfaces must be smooth and flat so some prep work may or may not need to be done there... The "cheating" dreams sound like "Seven-year-itch" dreams. The seven-year-itch was dubbed such for married couples because, according someone (I don't know whom), the seven year marker for marriage is when marriages start to feel stale and the yearning for the experience of the excitement of new romance comes on. It may or may not happen at seven years but, after years of the same old steady stuff, partners can get bored. Sounds like you and your husband need to do something like plan a date night and find some new things to do to put some excitement into your marriage.
As far as the recurring high school dream, it'd be interesting to keep a log of the dates you have it and see what's going on in your life at the time. I doubt it's anything other than a stress dream. One where you're just the other side of the stressful situation and glad of it.
