Why does my scalp have a mild itch after a root touch up?

okay, i went to a salon and got my hair bleached blonde back in june and after that my scalp was fine. but about 3 weeks ago when i went in for a root touch up, after 2 days my scalp started to itch. the itch is still going on till now. i'm using Nixon scalp recovery system. it seems to be working but my scalp is still a little itchy. what is going on? was it too soon for a root touch up? is my scalp not use to it? was the bleach too strong? can anyone help or had the same problem as me??

If you had Foil h/l done it can not be the bleach as it does not touch the scalp
If you had bleach put directly on to your scalp most probably
A few reasons
It could have started when you had it done the first time but because it was the first time maybe your scalp did not recover properly after 3 weeks
You have developed an allergy/intolerance to the product
Your stylist might have opened a new bottle of peroxide and it was slightly stronger
You might want to try not wash your hair for about 2 days before bleaching to build up a good acid mantel (its our own natural oils,sweat and dead skin that protect our skin) The bleach will still penetrate your hair and if it get bad while bleach is on ask your stylist to put milk on your scalp right after the shampoo - and not massage to much as that makes it even more sensitive
I would not worry too much as I have clients with sensitive scalps
