Root Shampoo
does lice treatment shampoo have to be put all over the hair or just the roots?
I have long hair, and need to do a lice treatment bc i was around pp with lice. Should i put it all the way down to the ends or just the root area?
put it everywhere! if you dont, the lice are just going to keep coming back again and again. you should try one (or all) of these three things:
1. over the counter RID. a special lice killer. sometimes comes with a nit comb.
2. tea tree oil. its an oil that you put in your hair, leave it in for 30 min, then wash it out. it kills the lice and their eggs.
3. mayonaise. ick, i know. but if you cover your head in mayonaise, put a shower cap on and leave it in for 45 min. then rinse it out and shampoo. the comb your hair with a nit comb to get all the dead lice and eggs.

Can Head and Shoulders shampoo help blend in the root of a permanent dye job, is it true?
my roommate dyed my hair with feria (auburn brown) i think we left it on the roots to long compared to the rest cuz the roots are more fiery and the rest is darker like almost chestnuty.
my question is: does head and shoulders shampoo help fade permanent color so it will blend in with the rest if i just apply it to the roots and scrub?
i've done it before when i used semi permanent rosewood brown (clairol) to even it out. but does it work on permanent color?
