Miserable Hair: To Weave or Not to Weave?
I am having a hair emergency. Recently, chemical damage has forced me to cut my hair. It is currently brittle and has been falling out in strands in the shower. I've used a few reconstructive hair masques which have definitely helped in its texture, but I don't know if my hair will continue to fall out or not. Meanwhile, I am miserable with how it looks because my once thick hair is now very thin and scraggly. On ANTM, girls are always getting weaves and they look GREAT. It makes me want one, but can I get one with damaged hair? And is there a way I can get this one to last, because I'm going to college in another state soon and I don't know if I can reliably get to a salon during the school year if something goes wrong. Still, I am miserable and desperate for decent, presentable hair--what should I do?
I actually have a weave in right now. I wanted my hair trimmed and the stylists cut my hair way too short. I had the hair extensions braid into my hair last week. I'm glad I did. Its a little braid you'll get use to it.
