Which has more alcohol? One bottle of red wine or 3 gin and tonics made with 1.5 ounces each?

How much total alcohol for each one? 90 proof gin.
NO...80 proof.

Thanks!

Basically there are four glasses of wine to a bottle (750 ml) and one glass of wine is equal to one shot. So there are more servings of alcohol in your gin and tonics (4.5 oz in G&Ts and only 4 in your bottle of wine).

While Maestro didn't have an especially high profile as a songwriter on his earlier recording projects, he certainly made up for lost time here, with ten songs that are warm, honest, and speak from the heart without sounding saccharine or clich?d, all of them buoyed by melodies that manage to sound graceful and catchy at once. And Maestro put together a great little band to play these tunes, including one-time Feelies percussionist St. Vincent DeNunzio, future Patti Smith bassist Tony Shanahan, and ace multi-instrumentalist Kerryn Tolhurst; the Health and Happiness Show make their arrangements sound full and satisfying without becoming overbearing, and they can ease from folk to country to Celtic accents without missing a step. (Their Celtic side gets a real boost by the presence of Eileen Ivers, who plays alongside HAHS fiddler Todd Reynolds on three cuts.) Despite the downtown credibility of several of the members, the Health and Happiness Show played roots music like they were born to it, and Tonic offers conclusive proof even a New Yorker can play a convincing two-step if they put their mind to it. ~ Mark Deming

Gin and Tonic mixer ..?

Do yall recommend I use the regular Tonic water, or Tonic "with a hint of lime"? (If it matters, my gin is Bombay Sapphire) the smallest size bottle my supermarket sells is a 1 litre, so I'd rather not be stuck with something I don't like. Also what portions should I use if I still want to taste the gin (47% abv - 94 proof) but not get too drunk (I have a high tolerance just haven't drunk gin for years, last time I had some I would sip on Beefeater without anything in it.)

Bonus question: Do you prefer Bombay Sappire or Beefeater and why?
I don't see what my accent has to do with my question Adrielle, but I admit that I do talk differently than others in Texas since I grew up speaking french. Please focus on the questions I asked.

Go with the hint of line or real limes, and personal favorite is Beefeater over Bombay--I think it has a slight "bite" to it which gives it character.
As for other things you can mix gin with that are pretty easy (and a little tacky): lemonade/limeade, plain tonic and grenadine (or Rose's sweetened lime juice), Sprite (or 7-Up), Gatorade (sounds strange, I know, but I have found that the best ones are the Tiger citrus cherry--if it is still on the market, the lemon lime, the orange, and the fierce grape), and if you are really feeling wild, I have mixed it with pomegranite/blueberry juice (or any of the POM fruit blends which have worked wonderfully). the POM juices really make you feel like you are getting some vitamins and the taste is really interesting--a little sour, a little sweet. Tanquerey is the best one in my opinion for standard gin and tonics. It is all a matter of taste though.
Have fun!!
