Placental Hair

Need a biological interpretation of the song "Mammals", explaining biological references in the song.
Glass of milk, standing in between extinction in the cold and explosive radiating growth/ so the warm blood flows through the large four chambered heart,/ maintaining the very high metabolism rate they have/ one of us might lose his hair but you're reminded that it once was there/ from the embryonic whale to the monkey with no tail/ so the warm blood flows with the red blood cells, lacking nuclei through the large 4 chambered heart/ maintaining the very high metabolism rate they have/ placental the sister of her brother marsupial their cousin called monotreme/ dead uncle allotheria/ their names are called they raise a paw the bat, tha cat/ dolphin and dog koala bear and hog/ the fox, the ox/ giraffe and and shrew echidna and caribou. (song by they might be giants)
Milk is the defining characterstic of mammals (mammary glands)
Extinction in the cold = it is widely thought that an asteroid impact caused prolonged period of cold and darkness that the dinosaurs were unable to survive. Mammals, however, were able to survive, and 'radiate' or diversify via evolution. I think the rest is pretty self-explanatory.
