Oily Hair
How to get rid of constantly oily hair?
I wash my hair once a day, using tea tree oil shampoo and tea tree oil conditioner only on the ends.
Regardless, within 12 hours or so, my hair is oily again.
Anyone have any tips? I've tried baby powder on my roots.

I have the same problem but it's more like after 6 hours for me...Anyway, there's a face wash made by Clearisil that is specifically for oily hair. It's green and has green tea and peppermint oil in it. (Sorry, I can't remember what it's called) I've used it two different ways. Either mix it with your shampoo 3 parts shampoo and 1 part wash and use it everyday; or use it full strength every couple days. Hope this helps!

heyy. im 13 and i have really oily hair. my sister and parents dont have oily hair, so i dont see where this is coming from. i know that its not naturally oily because only the hair 2 inches away from my face gets oily, about 3 hours into the day. anyone recommend any shampoos? and how do you know the ph number on the shampoo? it doesnt even say it. and any1 have any remedies??? likes apple cider vinegar or carrots or somethin???? thxx
It's not the hair that's the problem, it's your scalp that is oily! Lather the shampoo and conditioner deeply in to the scalp! Sometimes leaving the shampoo in your hair for five minutes before rinsing is a very great thing to do.
Only condition the ends of the hair, too much conditioner can make your hair even more oily.
What I do if my hair looks oily is put a little bit of baby powder on the top of the head and brush it out with a brush! The powder absorbs some of the moisture.
Stay away from products that say "Will give your hair shine," It will end up giving your hair even more oil than ever. Would you want that?
