Do you ever get oil pockets or bumps on your scalp?
I have very oily skin and I often get oil pockets or bumps on my scalp. Does anyone get these too? If so, how do you get rid of them?
You need to use conditioner, and moisturizer.
"But I have oily skin?" You say.
Using moisturizer and conditioner, and not "overwashing" your hair, is the key to not getting "oil pockets" and oily skin. The more you moisturize, the less your body has to do it for you. At first your body will get confused, and you'll have slightly oily skin/hair, but resist the temptation to use astringent, etc. Live with it for just a few day, and then you'll be glad that you did!
Your hair, scalp, and face will all be less oily if you put the moisture on your face so your face doesn't have to put oil on it.
You should try to eat foods fried in olive oil, or smart balance, not butter or margarine.

Ladies how often do you oil your scalp with some form of oil? i.e coconut oil, amla oil... I oil mine 3 days a week and was wondering whether that was enough or too much to oil my scalp...
