Nioxin Volumizing Thick

My hair used to be extremely thick. now its really thin. what products should i try and will vitamins help?

I dont want to use volumizing products or thickening products that make my hair look full, i want products that will actually help my hair grow in such as nioxin, mane n tail, vitamins, etc. just wanna know if any of those products actually help. my hair loss is due to stress. my mom was diagnosed about a year and a half ago with breast cancer and passed away a couple months ago. i was her caregiver which is really hard with a one year old to also look after, school,and work. my hair fell out in chunks. since shes passed away my stress level has gone down, now im just depressed. so its not early hair loss, just lost it from stress.
