does hair dye get darker/ more intense the longer it is left on?
I get my hair professionally colored, with varying results. I love to have my hair colored a level 5 ash brown...one stylist used this shade and left it on for only about 15 mins and it turned out gorgeous and very natural looking. Unfortunately she moved away. My latest stylist insists that the color stay on for 45 mins, but it seems to get too dark......So my question is, if a brown color is left on longer will it get darker? thanks!
