Moisture Gel
Shea butter and aloe Vera gel combo.?
So...i had quite a break out about a month ago..not breaking ot anymore but i still have scars left. I'm favour natural products and was thinking about making my own face moisturizer with shea butter(for moisture) and aloe vera gel(healin properties and maybe help with blrmishes)....maybe some jojoba oil(humectant properties) and grapeseed oil(astringent properties) or tea tree oil(blemish help and acne prevention).
Anybody here dabbble in making their own stuff and does this mix/concoction sound right?
I think you're on the right path. Definitely keep the shea butter, tea tree, and aloe vera. I've never used grapeseed, so I'm not sure.

What can happen if you eat a silica gel pack?
You know...those paper packs that come in shoes, or purses to keep the moisture out?

That doesn't specifically say what happens to you if you eat it...I already checked there, but thank you anyway.
since silica gel is made to expand when it comes in contact with water, it would expand inside your body, soaking up all the water as it goes. If you managed to choke some of it down, which I don't think would be a good idea, it would probably dehydrate you. Also, since it isn't digestible, it would probably stay in your system for a long time, further dehydrating you. In short, I think you would be in some serious trouble.
