Mitchell Color Protect
I'm having a professional dye my brown hair blonde. N e preventative damage control I can do?
My hair is medium to light reddish brown at the moment. I have been using box dyes both dark brown and dark red. I'm having my stylist do color correction first so my blonde isn't stripe-y, then dye it dark blonde/ light brown and highlight it. I know damage is unavoidable, but I was hoping to get some suggestions on how to prevent some of the damage. Currently I rotate between using aveda damage repair shampoo and conditioner and paul mitchell's color protect shampoo and conditioner.
Everything you are doing right now is great. Just add professional deep conditioning.

how to prevent my blue/black hair from fading?
my hair fades like within a week. i wash in like every other day. and i use color protector shampoos and paul mitchells color protecting leave in spary ...and it still fades. especially my front pieces of my hair. how do i prevent this. my hair is like tinted brown in the sunlight. & its not at its darkest like it should be....?
Is it permant? If it's semi permant..then its normal.
If it is permant... it's fine when that the dye bleeds. but eventually it has to stop.
Black will stay. The blue.. (if you bleached it) may turn white.
Rainbow coloured hair rarely stays in...it usually fades over time
