Is Minoxidil(Rogaine) effective in treating hair-loss? If yes, Must i continue using it for life?

What Can I Do About My Receding Hairline?
Rogaine and other minoxidil products are not recommended for receding hairline or frontal baldness. But I need something! There has to be a hair piece or something I can wear.
It's not that minoxidil is "not recommended" for frontal hair loss, it just hasn't been shown to be all that effective in very many men with that pattern of hair loss. Who knows? It may, or may not work on you. You have to try it to see if it will.
I have that pattern of hair loss and I would recommend a daily regimen of finasteride, 5% minoxidil, and 2% ketoconazole shampoo. It has been clinical proven in human studies to actually work but you should see a dermatologist first (approx. $75 for an office visit if you don't have insurance).
