Mineral Mud Mask

help,help, help with improving facial skin?

as a 24 year old guy my facial skin can get pretty bad such as from shaving and goes red or I get rashes. Anyway what I want help with is how to make my skin looker more healthier. By this I mean i always have bags under my eyes. I was told to drink more water although I tend to drink a lot anyway, about 2 liters of mineral water a day. Other things would be just to make more skin look more lively. My skin through out the day looks the same as when I woke up or as if I had a late night, which makes me ask the question is there a amount of sleep i should be getting and does it have to be consistent? as sometimes I could go to sleep at 10pm and the next day at 6am. another thing is there techniques such as face steaming or mud masking with vegetables. also does the diet effect my skin such as caffeine products as well as cream such as cocoa butter or aloe vera products?

i have no clue at all why my skin is getting so bad so please help, thanks

Well, I don't know what all you're doing wrong, but I can tell the right things to do to give you the best skin you can have. You need lots of water, fruits and vegetables. You need at least 7 or 8 hours of sleep each night around the same time--so stop staying up til 6 am!! That part is a big deal. Where do you think the term "beauty sleep" comes from? Try to go to bed around the same time every night for a good amount of hours. Exercise is also a huge deal--it forces you to sweat out the toxins in your body, giving you a healthy glow. It also makes you more healthy all around, helping the body repair itself quicker, including your skin. As for the topical stuff, it really doesn't do much! Yes, a good mask once a week could help just a tiny bit, but you'd have to buy the absolute best to really see a difference and that can get super pricey. It's not really worth it when you could go the natural way for nearly free! Though one topical thing that could bring out your glow would be a good exfoliating scrub (St. Ive's Apricot Scrub--invigorating is a good inexpensive one). Be sure to wash your face once or twice a day with a gentle cleanser, and exfoliate with your scrub maybe every other day. Good luck with your skin, and take better care of yourself

Edit: After reading another answer to your question, I'd just like to say that, unless there's something seriously wrong with your skin, you should avoid the dermatologist. They only want to sell you medication!!

I have used both Ulta and H20 products. However, I have never used their masks. I would go with H20. I like them better than Ulta.
