yes it works well, i use to use it when i had a perm, if you are going to wear perms.you can always except, damage , and always getting your hair trimmed from the damage from the chemicals ,anyways you should use pantene always with a perm it protects your hair from damage and it helps prevent split ends . yes proline perm repair works but when you use it make sure your hair is clean and well conditioned with pantene good luck

Hair help!!?
My hair just keeps coming up from the root especially the hair line at the front of my head and I have tried a few suggested hair repair products but to no avail. Products such as pink lotion, african pride carrot hair oil, belrose black hair oil and a few others. How can i get this problem resolved.
First off, it depends on how you style your hair...
If you use a lot of gels/spritz, etc your hair WILL come out over time.
Also, it depends on how tight you pull your hair into a ponytail/style.
