What is the BEST lotion 4 extra dry skin?
Look for a lotion containing sodium hyluraunate. It holds 1000 times it's weight in water and is good at preventing aging as well. Also look for things with essential oils in them rather than mineral oil. Mineral oil sits on top of the skin, and while it's good a creating a moisture barrier, your skin already has an internal one that essential oils seep into and match the fluids that are already in your skin. You could also try a moisture mask once or twice a week and exfoliate your skin as well. If you don't exfoliate, nothing will penetrate. Think about trying to water your lawn with dry dead leaves on it. Yah, it doesn't do any good. If you're on a budget, try Origins Never Say Dry moisturizer ($22), and either their Drink Up mask ($18) or Perfect World Nightime Mask ($30). They should last you a good six months or longer.
