Loss Gel Formula
Moms who have breastfed:?
I have a 4 day old and she has been great with breastfeeding so far. I have had to supplement for a day due to jaundice and a weight loss of 7 lbs 12 ounces to 6 lbs 11 ounces, so a whole pound and an ounce. Since then I have gotten my milk in and I have a pediatrician appointment tomorrow so I'm hoping she will say its okay to not supplement with the formula anymore because she doesn't seem to want to latch on to my nipple as easily 
Also, I need to pump because my breasts every three hours or so get hard, hurt and full. So I've fed her some of my breastmilk in a bottle. I really want to be able to breastfeed and will do anything to be able to. Could it be that she doesn't like the taste of the Soothies I have on (gel pads on my nipples)...she didn't mind the Lanolin cream at all. Any advice? I'm afraid she will continue to not like my nipples!
The problem that you are having is not with your breast. Your child is starting to have a nipple preference. She likes the bottle because of how fast it flows out and how much less work she needs to do.
Stop supplementing. Do not give the baby any more bottles. If you or the doctor is concerned about her weight gain have them recheck her weight in 48 hours.
Also in regards to pumping. You need to allow the baby to regulate your milk production. Every time you stimulate your breast by pumping it is sending a message to your body to produce more milk. Stop pumping and just let the baby eat as often as she is hungry (10-12 times in a 24 hour period). If your breast start to hurt really bad you can hand express a small amount of milk. Only a little - just enough to relieve the 'holy cow, I can't take it anymore' feeling.

Edit - if your nipples are ok -then you do not need to use the lanolin or the soothies. You should express some breast milk onto your nipple and then allow it to air dry.

Safe Weight Loss With High Fiber Foods
If you're on a quest for weight loss, there's no doubt you've heard horror stories of all sorts on the ways people have tried to lose weight. They believe that for most of the people who believe they are out of hope, the solution is really some simple lifestyle changes.
Before you begin any diet, the best thing you can do is talk to your doctor or a dietician about your plan. Let them know what kinds you diet meals you are considering, as well as any exercise plans or other weight loss ideas you may have. They will give you intelligent advice on what may be good or bad for your body.
If you do sit down and talk to a nutritionist or dietician, chances are they are going to tell you to add more fiber to your diet. A high fiber diet is often enough to trigger weight loss, by making you feel full sooner, and helping the body eliminate waste more regularly. But it is also full of a number of other healthy side effects such as benifiting heart health. Fire also comes in two forms, soluble and insoluble. The best for weight loss is soluble.
Soluble fiber disolves in water and becomes a gel-like substance. Firstly, that makes you feel full, and may stop you from overeating. Unfortnately most Americans don't eat nearly as much fiber as they should. While the National Insitutes of Health recommendation of 20-35 grams of fiber daily for each adult, the majority of Americans only eat half of the fiber they should. But when it comes to dieting, do the match, using the fiber flush formula, each gram of fiber removes 7 calories. That means if you eat those 35 grams of fiber, you could see weight loss of 2 lbs per month thanks to the extra fiber.
