Loss Comb Your
Black girls that have gone natural by transitioning, did your straight hair fall out or break more than usual?
I had been using a texture softener (just for me) for over a year when I experienced hair loss during an application. This prompted me to stop using chemicals to keep my hair "manageable" and just go natural. I'm transitioning and my new growth has been growing for at least 3 months now. I notice my new growth gets very dry and very hard to comb so I wash/condition every weekend. I notice that when I'm washing my hair and combing the conditioner through, that my hair is still falling out! Or at least it seems. Is this normal while transitioning? I have these two textures and it's straighter hair that's coming out in the comb (wide tooth).
I've been in your shoes before. I had transition for 11 months till i realized i wasn't ready for it then i relaxed it again. Anyhow a thing you must know is where the relaxed & natural hair meet is called demarcation line and it's prone to breakage and splits (that's why you lose lot's of relaxed hair cause it's breaking at that point). Since your hair is dry try doing lot's of treatments during the week to boost up your hairs moisture content. Hot oil treatments,deep conditioning and prepoo's. Also co washing and a good moisturizer might help. Now since you now know what to do to boost up moisture you must learn how to boost up your hairs strength in your case you need a light protein treatment like joico-k pac reconstructor (you can find the generic value one at sally's if it too expensive to buy the authentic one)

How to prevent hair loss with what im doing.?
Hi. Im 15 year old guy. I do straighten my hair daily. Shampoo & COndition my hair. and put hair spray in it alot of it.
how do you wash your hair right without drying it out alot.
also people have to me not to comb or dry your hair right after your shower when its wet? can someone explain
any other tips would be nice,!
if you're using a moisturizing conditioner and shampoo then you should be fine in the department. you CAN comb your hair right out of the shower, just use a wide tooth comb (the kind with big, widespaced teeth), don't use a brush or fine tooth comb and it will pull too much on your hair (which is already soft from being wet and conditioned) and cause breakage
