Is DHT Sensor treatment for hair loss effective?
I have thinning hair and i'm afraid that if i won't do anything about it, i might go bald in a few years time. I'm considering using DHT Sensor which a company that caters to hair loss problems has recommended to me but i don't know how effective it really is. Has anyone here ever tried it?
DHT Sensor treatment is effective for hair loss only if your hair loss is due to unbalanced testosterone in your system.
As women age, hair loss isn't so much of an issue as hair thinning. The individual hairs themselves become much thinner and it seems like we're losing hair. This is normal if you're going through menopause and don't take estrogen replacement therapy.
If you're still young, you need to have obvious symptoms of too much testosterone, ie; deepening voice, more developed muscles and facial hair. If these aren't present, the DHT won't work for you. This is a product that is generally aimed at men, but if the company can sell it to women as well, I'm sure that makes them happy and they smile all the way to the bank.

My husband covers his hair with a towel every night because
he finds that it helps him with his slight sinus problem. He says he has been doing this for 10 years now. He is now 27 years old and ever since he started covering his hair with a towel he started loosing his hair. He is really thin on the crown and front now....
His brother is 3 years older but has a full head of hair... He does not cover his head when he sleeps.
I think he is balding because he covers his head at night with a towel??? What do you think..... (I know DHT causes it but do you think this causes it as well??

Highly unlikely! Male Pattern Baldness is a very common occurrence anyway - even in very young males. It's difficult to imagine why covering the head at night would cause hair loss - I'd say it was a natural thing that's happening. As an example, I'm a twin, my brother has started to get very thin on top while I have trouble controlling the thickness of my hair! So I don't even see it's hereditary in some cases although that is a contributing factor.
