Anyone here ever grown you hair long just so you can donate it to have a wig made out of it?

How did they experience affect you? Did you feel like you lost something big or gained something bigger?
I started growing mine when my daughter got cancer. I want to do something nice for someone. She doesn't need my hair. Hers came back. I'm trying to get mine very long.

Last year a grade 8( last year i was grade 7) shaved all her hair off for chairity. She shaved it infront of the hole school.She is so brave because she had long hair 2! Now her hair has grown and she looks cute!
