Laser Comb Effective
How effective are laser hair comb's for regrowing hair?
I'm pretty young, I'm only 22. And, I still have a LOT of hair... pretty much all of it, however, I've noticed that my hair has thinned out around my temple areas on both the left and right side of my head.
Now I've got little gaps, with no hair on the frontal temple or like top/side areas of my scalp. There like little gaps in my hair line.
I don't EVER want to lose my hair, and I'd be willing to shell out the 500 bucks that it would cost to buy a laser hair comb... IF IT WORKS!!!
Basically I have 4 questions...
1. Has anyone used a laser hair comb... if so, how has been your experience with them???
2. How effective are they???
3. Do laser hair combs work better or worse than minoxidil products like Rogaine???
4. How effective would it likely be... for someone in my condition???

Laser combs can do nothing to regrow hair. Just use common sense and try and think logically about what a laser would do to make hair grow. At the most, at the absolute most, they could stimulate the follicles where hair is already growing and maybe make the hair grow a little bit faster.
This is something known as "patent medicine." That means it's sold by hucksters and con artists, and they've been selling garbage like this with scientific sounding (but completely nonsensical) explanations for hundreds of years.
Minoxidil products actually work.

HairMax Laser Comb
Fighting Hairloss- Help from those with success.?
Hello, I'm 23 years old and recently have noted a serious loss of hair in my temple region, I've begun to fight this with the Hairmax Laser comb and Nizoral Shampoo. However It's been 3 months and I haven't noticed any major changes other than the fact that my hair is continuously looking less pigmented in these areas.
Is there any other products out there that people have used that helped them? I'm debating on proscar, however I heard it isn't effective with receding hairlines.
I may have a minor graft done, however my hair loss is still minimal so I don't think surgery is an option yet, however I wish it was because I would definitely get it done right now!
Shaving my head IS NOT an option, nor is "dealing with it" so don't bother posting these responses, thanks!
The main thing is to keep the hair root free from anything that might rub it, like a cap or hat and to see that it is kept clean and free to grow. Taking gelatin capsules twice daily increases the thickness of the hair shafts and strengthens them. Milk and any products containing calcium do too. Solgar Gelatin is a great brand. Rogaine can be applied topically to stimulate hair growth. Also using hair products that contain sun screen will protect existing hairs from thinning, as will washing with filtered, unchlorinated water.
