huggies vs. kirkland diapers?
my husband went to costco yesterday, and i specifically told him to get huggies diaper. they are the only ones that dont seem wo leak with our son.
well he came home with kirkland (the costco generic) and already opened the box, so we cant take them back.
he says huggies makes krikland. is this true? ive never heard that before.
does the kirkland brand stand up to the quality of huggies or other name brand diaper's?
ive had problems with leakage with walmart brand and target brand diapers, so im worried that the costco brand will leak too and ill be changing his clothes everytime he pee's
I have tried to find this out as well. The off brands are made by many of the name brands but I just do not know which are which.
I found that even name brands, only a certain type worked for my kids. We use Huggies. But I would say try them. It really does not matter who makes them just that they keep the pee pee and poop in. I have found that I LOVE the Costco wipes. I have not tried the diapers but if they are anything like the wipes they should be OK.
Either way in a few weeks if they are bad you will be getting some more.
I hope they work for you because I know how much of a pain it is to have leaky diapers.

| | Generic $18.98 If great rock & roll is supposed to be about breaking the rules, then Flipper's still-astonishing debut, Album -- Generic Flipper, confirms their status as one of the great rock bands of their day. Album captures a band who not only refused to obey the accepted guidelines of rock & roll, they didn't even bother to pay much attention to their own rules. On the opening cut, "Ever," the band displays a willful contempt for rhythm, playing in a sludgy mid-tempo that wavers back and forth -- and then they add a snappy (if casually executed) clap track over the top, making the sloppy mess seem almost catchy. Flipper slogs along through a slow, noisy swamp through most of the album, only to snap-to with a dose of up-tempo hardcore near the end on "Living for the Depression," and then close out with the brilliant "Sex Bomb," the closest thing '80s punk ever created to the beer-fueled genius of the Kingsmen's "Louie Louie," and a song with a great beat that you just can't dance to. And while Flipper seemed sincere about their utter lack of faith in mankind, on "Life" they dared to express a tres-unhip benevolence, declaring "Life is the only thing worth living for." (Not to mention the angry but deeply committed finale to "Living for the Depression," in which Bruce Lose declares, "I'm not living my life to be/A real cheap f*cker like you, copout!") About the only accepted rule of rock that seems to mean anything to Flipper is that music isn't worth playing if it doesn't have passion; every noisy moment of Album -- Generic Flipper sounds like Flipper was willing to live and die for this music (and in a sense, that's just what Will Shatter did). Anyone know about formula?
I just stopped breastfeeding my second daughter, she is nine months old, and I am trying to figure out which formula to give her. With the first, I gave her Enfamil lipil exclusively. This time around I am wondering how good the generic versions are. Specifically the Kirkland (Costco) brand...or any others people know about. Are they just as good? What are the pros/cons beyond price. Thanks!
When I was in Costco today I did compare the ingredients and they weren't as close as I thought they'd be.
Kirklands begins:
Ingredients: Nonfat Milk, Lactose, High Oleic Safflower Oil, Coconut Oil; Less than 2% of....
Enfamil begins:
Ingredients: Nonfat Milk, Lactose, Vegetable Oil (Palm Olein, Soy, Coconut and High Oleic Sunflower Oils), Whey Protein Concentrate and Less than 1% of....
My pediatrician and also several articles in the various parenting magazines that I have read all say that generic formulas are fine. They all have to meet basic government requirements. I used name brand for my first baby and generic for my second two, and found no difference whatsoever. Save the money adn go for it!
