Ion Hair Comb
How can I dye my hair evenly, at home?
I had medium blonde hair with light brown low lights, and I decided to color the whole thing light brown instead. So I went to Sally's and bought Ion color in light ash brown, and 20 vol. developer. It came out pretty even and nice. But now, after several shampoos, the color has faded significantly and the roots are medium blonde to dark blonde and the shaft and ends of the hair are a very very light brown.
So my question is: If I go back to Sally's, should I buy more of the light ash brown color? or will it make my ends too dark? What if I put the color on my roots for most of the time, and then combed it through to the ends for the last remaining 10 or so minutes?
Also, I noticed this spray that claims to help you color your hair evenly if you spray it on before applying color. Much like a filler. Yay or nay?
