Icon Sense
The perfect night to ask this question: In a spiritual sense, are there two types of people in the world?

Those who can find humor even in the death of an icon; and those who find humor in the death of an icon in poor taste?

I am the former. Which are you?

no. youre wrong, theres those who find humor, tasteful or not, and then theres those with no sense of humour in the least

Like Tabu labelmates Cherrelle and the S.O.S. Band, Alexander O’Neal gets a volume in Universal’s Icon series, which effectively replaces 2004’s Greatest Hits. Much of the content is duplicated here, though “A Broken Heart Can Mend,” “Hearsay,” “The Lovers,” “Saturday Love” (present on Cherrelle’s Icon), and “You Were Meant to Be My Lady (Not My Girl)” are not. This allows room for the deep-album-cut ballads “Sunshine” and “The Morning After,” as well as more extended mixes; the likes of “Criticize,” “Fake," “What’s Missing,” and “Love Makes No Sense” appear in such form. It’s just about impossible to determine the best O’Neal compilation. Either way, you get an excellent overview of one of the most powerful ‘80s/’90s R&B vocalists, as well as some of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis' finest production work. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi

Anti Icon - Sense To Kill (Drums)

Is the lock icon at the bottom of a secure screen truly secure, or is it providing a false sense of security?

I mean sometimes you are on a loggin page, or shopping; inputting personal or private information and you truely think your safe with the little lock at the bottom of the screen, but what if you have a virus on your computer or hackers or spyware. I mean what does the little lock really keep from viewing your info.

As previously mentioned it means that your data is being encrypted using a key that includes public information from the certificate for that site. This means that only people with the private information for that site can understand what you sent.

That is the hole. You have to trust that 1) the site you are sending the information to is the site that you want to send it to, and 2) no one else has the private information from the site's certificate.

You can increase your comfort with #1 to see who verified the certificate that the site is using. This verification is shown by who signed the certificate. Verisign is one reputable company, there are others. Reputable companies charge a fair amount of money ($1K/year) to sign, and do a lot of background checks.

You can't really check #2. However, if you are working with a large company then it is relatively safe.

Hackers and spyware on your computer could monitor what you enter before it is encrypted. That is a whole different set of issues that you need to protect against with spyware detectors and virus detectors.
