Simple Question? Two paths which man has to choose from one is the broadway the other narrow? You followed?

The Broadway consist of these things buildings, man teaching man, icons, idols, reading what others have as ideas to the end, given money in exchange for there soul, imagination, believing in a false doctrine said over and over again until it is as much as part of you as breathing and much much more this is the way which leads to destruction. The straight and narrow is reality and truth which is clear conscious. Which of these lead you. First test for being judge. For out of your own mouths will you be judged.

I follow my way. My way rejects superstitions.

Edit - It should be spelled "strait". "Strait" means narrow or strict. The Bible verse is Matthew 7:13-14 (KJV) "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."

The Four Tops brought a powerful, Southern gospel-fueled sound to the pop charts countless times in the 1960s for Motown Records, and no other act in the Motown stable sounded more like deep soul on hits like “Baby I Need Your Loving,” “Reach Out I’ll Be There” and “Standing in the Shadows of Love” during the decade. All three of those songs from the Four Tops' commercial peak in the mid- to late '60s are included in this 12-track set along with others from the group’s Motown era, as well as post-Motown sides like 1972’s “Ain’t No Woman (Like the One I Got)” for ABC-Dunhill and 1981’s “When She Was My Girl” for Casablanca, making this a brief but concise tour of the group’s chart career in three different decades. ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi

"Soul Heaven" - Tribute to Music Icons

Poll: Were you raised secular? No religion/spirituality? Do you have any belief now?

Just curious. I was raised by a catholic mother that did not practice her religion, but sent us kids to catholic school for a few years and to church for years. She rarely if ever, spoke of God or religion. The only religious icon in our house was a crucifix hung on the wall and at Christmas she would put a nativity under the tree. To this day she rarely speaks of any spirituality. I have a strong, deep christian faith, but am by no means a 'good catholic'. I attribute this solely to the church as I had no mentors or other family members that were religious in any way. Out of my four siblings 2 don't believe in anything and 2 are somewhat spiritual. I don't believe that any 'one' religion is the 'right' religion. I have brought my kids up catholic/christian and there are christian icons all through my house. I don't judge others on their beliefs, but I think having faith in a 'higher power' is good for both body & soul.

My parents were Christian, my grandparents and great-grandparents were Christian. I was brought up in a Christian home but that did not make me a Christian.
It was only when I put my trust in Jesus as my own saviour that I became a Christian.

I give thanks every day that I was brought up to read the Bible and go to church regularly.

I feel so sad when I read of children growing up without knowing the basic teachings of Christianity e.g. love God and love your neighbour. Also the ten commandments are as relevant now as they were thousands of years ago (don't swear, don't kill, don't steal, don't tell lies etc.).

I think every child should be taught these basic Christian values.
