Herbal Hair Growth Remedies
What are the natural or herbal ways to have a straighter hair growth?
Any simple homemade remedies just to straighten a bit my wavy hair or to make it more manageable, that could be done weekly? Have you tried it?
There is no way to make hair actually grow straighter. Wavy, curly, or straight hair is determined by genetics, and is actually implemented by the chemical structure of the hair. Straightening hair just temporarily breaks chemical bonds and recreates them in the desired way (same thing with heat curling). A perm permanently changes the structure of the hair with harsh chemicals. However, here are some ways to make hair straighter/ manageable without the use of a heat straightener:
- most straightening gels a grease based, and simply weigh hair down. This is a really bad solution if you have an oily scalp, as it can make it look like you haven't bathed.
-try using a little mousse before you blow-dry, and using a brush blow-dry your hair straight. This is what I usually end up doing
-Suave professionals are inexpensive, and they do wonders for my hair. I would definitely recommend them.

What medication for Polycistic ovaries?
I went to my drs a few months ago as I display all the symptoms for PCS. My doc says "oh yes, it sounds like PCS. The symptoms will lessen if you lose weight" I have tried to lose weight but one of the symptoms of PCS is weight gain and difficulty in shaking it off.
I am also getting excess hair growth. I can hardly talk about it to anyone as it draws attention to it if they have not already noticed.
Is there any medication available? My doc sometimes takes some persuading to write a prescription!! I would also love to hear about any herbal remedies.

Of course the symptoms will get better when you lose weight. The weight loss and the other symptoms getting better will both be caused by you getting treatment for your problem! What kind of idiot doctor do you have? Get a new doctor. One who will do his job and treat you. Shesh.
I have read that birth control pills are the best/only treatment. They will get your hormones (including insulin, in a 2nd hand way) back in line.
