Hazel Hair Building
Can you help me name my two characters?
I'm not so disillusioned that I think I'll be a best seller with this or anything. I just want to try my hand at writing actual books.
My main character is a girl, her name is Melanie. Average height, a little on the over-weight side but only by maybe...10-20 lbs. for her height range. Just finished college, has long, dark red/orange hair and brown eyes.
Her cousin and the 2nd main character is _____. He's still in high school, with blond hair and hazel eyes. Athletic build I guess. He's a little on the recluse/depressed side.
So I need help with last names and a first name for my boy. I was thinking Trenton, nick-name Trent, but it's a bit of a mouthful.
Their last names don't necessarily have to be the same. It doesn't matter to me.
I would just love suggestions.
I like Hans and Seth, but someone will think I'm trying to copy Stephanie Meyer.

When you gave the description of the guy, for whatever reason I pictured him being named Seth....haha, I don't know why....but that's my suggestion.
For the last name, I'd go with a normal one - maybe like Evans or something.
*edit - The name "Seth" is not copyrighted by Stephenie Meyer. In fact that didn't even cross my mind when I suggested it. Plus, the character of Seth in Twilight is Native American, whereas yours is white...

I’m writing a book and looking for names for my characters. This character is the fiancé of the main character. He’s tall and of average build. Short black hair, hazel eyes. Tanned skin. Successful business man. He exudes confidence but is shy on the inside. Playful and loving with his fiancée but no one sees that side of him. Private. Quiet. No fuss, no nonsense. Overall a happy guy. Friendly and generous to everyone he meets. When you read this description, which name do you think matches this character best?

Though I love the name Connor, I find that this doesn't suit the
character very well. So I'd go with Colin. I think it plays the part.
