What are the best supplements/vitamins to take and food to eat that promote faster growing female head hair?
I am a female in my late 20's and I am trying to get my hair to grow faster. It seems like now it only grows three inches a year and thats all cut off during the year with my quarterly trims. I feel like my hair has been stuck at shoulder length for over five years now! What can I do to get long hair? I am ethnic, mixed with hispanic and caribean, so my hair is thick, yet I get it chemically relaxed, so I think its weaker, but it doesn't break off that much. Does anyone know any tips I can do, or vitamins I can take that will give me at least an inch or more of new hair growth per month? That would be ideal! Thanks a lot!!

What kind of vitamins/minerals are good for ethnic hair?
Biotin and MSM work great, especially if you are trying to maximize your hair growth! I also would recommend taking a regular daily multivitamin as well garlic pills to reduce shedding of the hair. Hope this helps!
