Can I straighten my hair about three months after a perm?
I have very thick hair and the curls from my perm have loosened quite some. I've had so many people advise me in different directions about straightening it.
Some say the curls won't come back the way they were before at all, some say they will. I love the perm, but I miss my straight hair. So, since I have such thick hair, will straightening it destroy the curls?
my friend got a perm...she didnt wait any time at all to straighten it, and it was fine. It went right back to curly after she washed it. No worries.

I have all of the color products to do that to my hair, but can anyone give me a few instructions so I can do it without making it a total disaster?
wow, thats different. it's gonna look like crap if you have never done it before especially if you try to do it yourself. I would say go somewhere but since you prolly won't do that at least have someone you know help you. I am a stylist and I even have trouble with my own hair sometimes. You just cant' see everything in the mirrors.
