Please HELP!! Japanese hair straightening on bi-racial hair?
so im a 13 year old girl and like all mixed girls i hate my curly hair. i have been straightening it for over a year now and im sick of it. The burning on my hair and my skin, not being able to wash my hair for week to regain oils, and of course the time... so for my birthday i was hoping that i could get my hair permanently straightened with the japanease hair straightening, but i need help on my decision. (yes im trying to sound sophisticated =p) so has anyone had it done? and what were your results? do you think it might work on my hair or at least worth my money? or is it going to be a big mistake? oh btw. my hair(when straightend) is about 3 in below my shoulders. dark brown and feels like white girls hair a lil bit, i dont hve tht coarse hair ya know like a mix? please help me!!! ty ^_^
Well, I sat in a chair for 3 hours. Lol. It's the most tiring thing I've done with my hair.
But the results are pretty great. When you tie it up, there's no crease when you put it back down, also it's more manageable. I'm asian, but it should have a similar affect on your hair. It also makes your hair shinier, not sure how but it does xD. The best part for me, no more tangles!
Well, I got it done in korea, where it's rediculously cheap, not sure how much it is here, probably more expensive.
If you want to do it, and if you're willing to spend the money, then go ahead.
But in my opinion, I really like curly hair, I never got people who would straighten out their gorgeous curly hair. (:

As such, it was actually far more successful, on its own terms, than 1999's lackluster techno-black metal exercise Eternal, but for most long-term Samael fans who had waited half a decade for this, well, the generalized uproar was, uproarious. But then, most of these fans should have known better than to expect any sort of retreat into extreme metal purity (surprisingly, that would come later), and, as mentioned earlier, Reign of Light's greatest strength lies not in its musical direction per se, but in the consistency of its vision, sustained atmosphere, and quality songwriting. Yes, there are distinct similarities to German industrial fetishists Rammstein to be found in opener "Moongate," the female vocal-enhanced "High Above," and the hard-driving title track (among others), but this has as much to do with frontman Vorph's throat-lacerating croaks (still as inaccessible as it gets!) as the music itself. And as ensuing highlights like the Eastern melody-laced "Inch'Allah," the deep space-trekking "Heliopolis," and the digital death-waltz "On Earth" are paraded before the court, Samael's personal identity quickly and indubitably reasserts itself. Chief composer and former drummer (now all-purpose programmer) Xy never fails to push the electronic envelope with his varied arsenal of beats (taking center stage on "Telepath"), but along with his malevolent choir orchestrations, they almost always mesh seamlessly with Vorph and Makro's brutally scything guitars to generate that dark, demonic vibe that has always been one of Samael's best-loved trademarks. And, although "Oriental Dawn" and the unusually mellow "Further" tend to plod along somewhat, there are no outright blunders capable of toppling this Reign of Light -- an album that reasserted Samael's songwriting credentials above and beyond their ever-questing creativity, and finally delivered a suitable, if belated, follow-up worthy of the sinister, robotically acetic sheen of their breakthrough 1996 opus, Passage. How can I make my hair less knotty and bad quality:got a perm in summer, how long till my hair gets healthy?
My hair is smooth on the top layer, but then on inside, the hair is all crinkled and knotty. It is so hard to handle, but I really don't want to cut my hair. I got like a sort of perm over the summer and now my hair quality is horrible. What can help nit regain its healthy original form?
If you don't gain the guts to cut your hair, even jsut for a trim, it won't improve. You NEED to get a healthy chop, say at least an inch, to get split ends off. You also need patience for hair grows about nearly an inch a month and it will take probably months to actually see a difference in your roots.
Meanwhile, get frequent cuts, refrain from further styling or damage, eat healthy for healthier hair (and drink lots of water) and have lots of PATIENCE AND PERSEVERENCE.
