today is the day of my missed period, but i have known for about a week now that i am...i was just wondering because the last couple of times i showered alot of my hair came out but today when i did barely any if none came out...is this normal?
yes.. its a good sign
Some basic tips to prevent loss and get healthy hair:
-Shampoo your hair once in a week.
-Trim your hair after four to five weeks to avoid split ends.
-Fresh fruits and vegetables which contain proteins should be taken in good amount.
-Avoid back brushing or combing.
-After swimming rinse the salt water/chlorine out of the hair straightway. Then shampoo your hair.
-Massage your head which will increase blood circulation and blood supply to hair roots. Massage at least one time in a week.
-Avoid over-washing your hair as it affects natural oils present in hair.
-Use a conditioner on damaged hair, rub olive oil and then wrap your head with ploy bag and cover it with scrap. Leave it as long as you can. This would result in healthy growth of hair.
-Condition your hair to remedy the effects of sunshine pollution.
-Use a smooth edged, wide toothed comb to remove tangles.
-Avoid fried and starchy foods.
-Use a soft nylon brush or comb.
-Cover your head to protect your hair from sun.

I'm a teen and when I take a shower I lose a somewhat big amount of hair. How much hair loss is ocnsidered normal.
on average you loose 50 to 100 strands a day and you usually notice it in the shower. if you don't wash your hair everyday you will notice more because it will have the previous day's 50-100 still in there. it is when you notice shedding outside the shower that you should be aware of, like after it is dry and you are running your fingers through it and alot comes out then there should be some concern but if you are just noticing it in the shower and when you comb it soon after you should be fine
