Hair lost can be devestating. but first you need to consult a dermatologist. it maybe a hormone imbalance from the baby that is doing this to your hair. but you need to have a physical examination and a blood work up. If you find that there is nothing wrong and that is my hope for you.
To camouflage some hair loss you might wanna try to use a darker hair color. It always makes the hair look thicker but you should consult a licensed hair stylist. if you hair is fragile you don't wanna damage it by additional chemical processes. You should find a good hair dresser and commit to going to them once a week for scalp manipulations, scalp massages and treatments.
Attempt not to use too many heat products on your hair and keep it well conditioned. there are always wigs and hair pieces. and trust me they are not your mom's wigs. i love to wear my wigs they are fun versatile and easy to change with your mood.
Also you can go to your local health food stand and buy the skin and nail vitamins as well as herbs such as Aloe, nettle and birch. the nettle is sold some places as a tea. i tried it before and it didn't do anything for me, but i've known some people who swear by it. I use a product called Silicon Mix, the shampoo hair and conditioner and it has worked miracles for me. It is also a must to keep your ends trimmed, every 6 to 8 weeks. I get my hair set and sit under the dryer with alter ego drops. you can also use your favorite conditioner and at the health food stand add some drops 6-10 each of rosemary (as a scalp stimulator), and lavendar(to stimulate blood flow) to your favorite Cholesterol 15.oz and sit under the dryer. or you can buy some Canela and add a small amount (apply with a q tip) to dry hair in the areas you wanna stimulate growth, every 4 days (never after a chemical process it will burn like hell). i only just heard of this one and recently started to try it, but people swear by it. I must note that the rosemary, lavendar, canela and alter ego drops all tingle. so if you have sensitive skin you should keep this in mind. But that tingle is to stimulate your hair follicles. Since doing these things and consistently going to the hair dresser for the last year my hair is healthy and long for the first time in my life. I also DO NOT COLOR MY HAIR, but add colored extentions for variety.
last but not least and certainly not easiest try to maintain a well balanced diet. drink plenty of water it reflects in your hair skin and nails.
