Hair Intensive
can leaving hair conditioner in overnight actually damage your hair?
I often cover my whole hair with an intensive conditioner (the ones that are supposed to be left in 3mins) and sleep with it in as a treatment for my hair, but my friend told me today that it is a myth that this is good for your hair and it can actually damage it..im confused now is it good or not?

well there is such a thing as getting too much protien in your hair which causes it to break. Conditiong treatments are made to put moisture and protien back into the hair which it lacks. If there is too much of it your hair can break easier.
Wearing it over night is not bad. Just dont do it everyday. Keep your treatments to once a week. You should be perfectly fine.
