Does zoloft stunt hair growth?
I'm a 18 years old male who has been taking zoloft for two years now. When I was 15 or so I had emo hair, quite long in fact my hair grew at an exponential rate (prolly half an inch per month which is normal), I cut it off when I was 16. After taking zoloft for a year I noticed that my hair grew alot slower. Fast track to this year, I'm been trying to grow hair to emo-length for over 3 months and it is only two inches long. Does zoloft stunt hair growth, I need help, what can I do?
Actually my daughter was quite young when she took it, and she lost every hair on her head. She had to be pulled out of school because she was humiliated. I weaned her off the medication and homeschooled her. It took 2 years for her hair to grow back in but now I am glad I pulled her off of it... I feel like a terrible mother by not researching these meds her doctor wanted to put her on. But you trust your doctor and the doctor has to trust the pharmacy (manufacturer). So good luck with this and just research it...

Hair growth-rate slowed/stunted?
My hair used to be at nearly shoulder length but about a month and a half a go I had a seriously bad hair-cut that left me with essentially a bob-cut, I didn't even pay the guy because I was that pissed. But after this long, my fringe has grown back really quickly but the hair at the back of my head, near the neck area seems to be growing slower? Am I just going crazy in thinking its not even growing at all? PS: I'm aware that hair grows back about half an inch a month but I'm just getting worried. I'm also a healthy male and 17 years old if that helps
The hair all over your head grows at a different rate. For mine The part that is my bangs grows out faster then anything else. Then the back of my hair grows faster then the front. I had it where the back was shorter then the front and now its the same length after almost a month. All my hair grows fast though. You cannot make your hair grow slower by getting it cut. Its just that the back of your hair doesn't grow as quickly as the front does.
