hair not growing?
This is not about breakage! I have relaxed hair and i haven't relax it for about 1&1/2 to 2 months and the growth is not even 1/2 an inch!Whats going on! I try not to use petroleum based products and i also try to massage my scalp whenever i can!Before my last relaxer when i went to the salon (i had 2 months growth) My stylist told me that my growth look like a three months growth but now every thing have change and the most strange is that now i take care of my hair more than before! I Deep conditioning my hair and don't let my hair dry out.I'm planning of going natural but how can i do that if
my hair doesn't grow!I used to use dr miracle (but i stop due to the over breakage it was causing coz i have sensitive scalp)I'll probably be taking supplements after some time if my doctor think it's necessary .So what else can i do I'm fed up!Pls no rude coments! Thanks!
You should get the hair, skin, and nails vitamins that they sell at GNC... Comes in a purple box. You'll see a difference. Other than that, the only thing I can say is that maybe you actually do have hair growth, but you have shrinkage. My hair has been natural for over 4 years, but it shrinks down to an inch long. You can't see any of the length until you straighten it out. Good luck on going natural!

What are some good natural supplements to promote healthy hair growth/maintenance?
I am just wondering what foods/supplements, etc. promote healthy hair. I have wondered this for a while, I know that flaxseed oil is good for that type of thing...but what else? And, while you're at it, if you know of anything topical besides aloe vera of course, that help skin and hair, it would be nice to include it in your answer.

lol no I don't smoke....
I find that protein powder containing amino acids, specifically the L-cystine, made my hair healthy again. I use MLO Super High Protein Powder. I also stopped smoking because it made my hair brittle, dry and thin over a long period of time. Look up info on amino acids and if you smoke, look up the effects of smoking tobacco on the hair.
